CRAP!!!
I placed a post on craigslist.org - Boston in Community/Artist and someone cut and paste my image in a new post with the word crap above it! What's up with that? Isn't it hard enough for us artist!
I think it's the times we live in. America is so ignorant of the arts. Why can't we, as artist, make a living off our art? It's nearly impossible to get people interested in what we are trying to do. Now, from inside our ranks, is someone putting us down! Ugh!!! Is it all worth it?!

This brings us to the whole miscommunication about art. Art is in the eye of the beholder. Yes this is true, however we should all appreciate talent. A persons art may not be ones taste but at least have an open mind enough to look to see what others see in it, and the talent, and eye that went into it. I am sorry that someone so ignorant, chose to express themselves in such an unprofessional manor...Craig

How horrifying! And you just *know* they're jealous, right? There's a whole idiot sub-culture at Craig's List that amuses itself by making snarky comments. There's even a blog that makes fun of Craig's List postings: http://blacktable.com/blair041029.htm.
I really like what you've done with the blog. I visited in the early stages and it looks a lot better now. I really like the comments you make. I find it interesting to know what goes through the mind of an artist. And I LOVE the paintings.
Keep up the wonderful painting/sketching/artwork and the great blogging, too!
